I am Alyson Rae Robinson

As a Dallas, Texas native, Alyson Rae Robinson is currently the Chief Executive Officer of RaeLawson Enterprise and RaeLawson Enterprise 2.0, and a Franchisee/Operator of two 7-Eleven convenience stores with gas. Mrs. Robinson is a Gen Y entrepreneur that possesses an extensive business acumen, with a true passion and ability to connect with people.

Mrs. Robinson attended Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia, on a golf scholarship. While there she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management. Mrs. Robinson continued her post graduate education and received a Master of Business Administration Degree from Texas A&M University – Commerce; and shortly thereafter received a Master of Accounting Degree from the University of Miami.

Mrs. Robinson began her career in public service as a Senior Budget Analyst in the Office of Financial Services for the City of Dallas, Texas; and she subsequently held a similar position as a Budget and Policy Analyst for the City of Norfolk, Virginia. Mrs. Robinson also served as a Budget and Financial Reporting Manager for the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board. After working for governmental entities, Mrs. Robinson then shifted her focus and extensive business knowledge to the private sector of Corporate America, where she was a Business Analysis Manager for the GSFS Group in Houston, Texas. Mrs. Robinson’s business and financial background allowed her to attain her ultimate desire, becoming an entrepreneur. This entrepreneurial journey has led to her being awarded the 7-Eleven Brand Excellence Emerald Champion award, the City of Arlington Game Changer award, the Dr. Mary McLeod Bethune Entrepreneurship Award from the National Council of Negro Women, the Elite News: John Beckwith Business Award, and most recently, being inducted into the Class of 2019 Hampton University: Top Forty Under 40 Society.

Mrs. Robinson also believes in Paying-It-Forward. She is a product of her tight-knit community, and of those selfless individuals who paved the way before her. Mrs. Robinson actively participates in several organizations and causes: she is the Founder of the “Lance A. Lemons Memorial Foundation”; she is a proud and active member of the illustrious sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; she is a blessed member of St. Luke “Community” United Methodist Church; and she frequently participates in a variety of volunteer activities whenever called.

Mrs. Robinson is extremely passionate about supporting the future entrepreneurial aspirations of the next generation. Using her experiences as a platform, Mrs. Robinson chooses to motivate and support the efforts of our youth in reaching whatever goals they pursue. She consistently stresses the importance of focusing on one’s goal; and being steadfast about never giving up on one’s dreams. Mrs. Robinson hopes to bring her love for this subject to students everywhere while continuing to build upon her personal career goals in the future.

Education and Career

Growing up in Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Robinson attended Bishop Dunne Catholic School before earning her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Hampton University, an HBCU. Mrs. Robinson later earned her Master of Business Administration from Texas A&M University – Commerce and my Master of Professional Accounting from the University of Miami.  Mrs. Robinson worked in local government for several years before transitioning into the private sector in Houston, TX where Mrs. Robinson became a Manager of Business Analysis in the automotive industry. In March 2017, Mrs. Robinson entered the 7-Eleven Women’s Entrepreneurial Contest and won a 7-Eleven franchise, becoming the CEO of RaeLawson Enterprise LLC.

Motivational Speaking

Through my speaking engagements, I focus on high school and college student empowerment, inspiring young adults to become leaders and make a positive impact on the world. My unique experiences and background have given me a fresh perspective on success and what it takes to achieve it. With my knowledge and expertise, I hope to inspire students to chase their dreams and become the best versions of themselves.

Values and Philanthropy

My passion for motivating and inspiring others extends beyond my professional career. I am actively involved in my community, volunteering with organizations such as Junior Achievement, the American Heart Association, and Big Brothers Big Sisters. I believe that giving back to the community is an essential part of success.
